RSBG Convention update

This is the somewhat witty title and précis for my presentation at the HF Convention in October:

SDR with knobs on!

Traditional radios are being overtaken by SDR technology and it is said that the mouse and keyboard are the front panel of the future. We look at the opportunities, issues and alternatives, using a home brew SDR controller project as a case study.

I hope to see many of my Blog followers there.

  1. I'll not be able to make it - will your presentation be available online or even recorded?

  2. That's a shame Ian. I don't know what the RSGB does about recording lecture streams these days. I think some are recorded but I suspect it's only the top billing ones and I doubt my niche interest project will be up there.

This Blog will have all the important stuff and I should be able to make the presentation materials available on line as well.

  4. Not yet. I have requested a slot some time on Saturday. I'll advise on this Blog when I have details.
